Ghanaian boxing legend and sports enthusiast, Azumah Nelson affectionately called Professor Zoom Zoom turned a new age two days ago.
The three-time boxing champion who was born on July 19, 1958 celebrated his 63rd birthday in grand style and a blissful party was thrown for him in of the topmost hotels in Accra.
It was all merry to see the sports icon looking so happy and strong at 63 and his family and friends ensured that they gave him the best celebration party ever.
Among the guests who were spotted at the party was former Black Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah and popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor was one of the guests who attended the birthday party and she performed her hit song for Azumah Nelson.
For some reason, most of the celebrities who attended Broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko aka KOD’s father’s funeral decided to wear sunglasses.
From Movie stars, Politicians, Musicians, Broadcasters, Soccer stars, Lawyers who graced KOD’s father funeral particularly on Saturday July 2 at the forecourt of the Statehouse, appeared in different shapes, sizes and colours of sunglasses.
The All white funeral attracted the crème de la crème including former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Boxing maestro Azumah Nelson, Lawyer Kwame Akufo, NPP’s Gabby Okyere Darko, KKD The Finest, Singer/Broadcaster Jon Germain, Actress Joselyn Dumas, former Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah, Radio Presenter/Entrepreneur Bolaray, Ahuofe Patri, KSM, Salma Mumin, Coded and Captain Planet of 4X4, Baaba Banda, Fred Nuamah, Saha, Michelle Attoh, Gideon Ayeeqye, among others and one fashion accessory runs through most of them.
