AKUFO ADDO LURED GHANA WITH HIS BIG BIG ENGLISH ” – Yvonne Nelson

The Ghanaian actress, who has been an active member of the then Dumsor demonstration and now # FixTheCountryDemo, has attacked the first gentleman of the republic of Ghana for using his big, big grammar to confuse the citizens of the country into voting for him.

After the 2016 elections, Ghanaians were happy to have demoted former president John Dramani Mahama because they thought he was the reason why we were going through hardship.

They voted for Akufo Addo and his government, but things turned out to turn worse.

The current economic crisis was blamed on COVID-19 and now the Russia-Ukraine war.

Being the one who has devoted her life to speaking for the voiceless, the ‘Princess Tyra’ actress took to her official Twitter page and tagged President Akuffo Addo and scolded him for lying to Ghanaians with his big, bold grammar.

In her own words, she wrote:

“You lured Ghanaians with your BIG BIG english @NAkufoAddo

She posted;

“I went to buy gas the other day…..i couldn’t believe how much i was told to pay… @NAkufoAddo is this what you promised Ghanaians?”.

WE CAN’T ALWAYS BE FUELING V8 JUST TO BE CARRYING YOUR CHAIR AROUND IN 2022 – EDUDZI TELLS AKUFO-ADDO

A member of the National Democratic Congress NDC communications team, Edudzi Tamakloe has kicked against the decision by the President, Nana Akufo Addo to carry his chair around everywhere he goes this year like he did in 2021.

Edudzi, however, intimated that it’s not a problem for the President to carry his chair around but the fact that they’ve dedicated V8 only to carry the chair is the most worrying thing and also disrespectful to people who voted for him.

Speaking on Metro TV, he emphasized that the president has no right go whatsoever to use the public funds to support his spiritual life even if it’s a direction from his prophet.

Edudzi Tamakloe stated that there’s no justification for the V8 being provided for carrying the president’s chair around looking at the taxes the government is imposing on the people of Ghanaians.

According to him, it’s not the taxpayer’s responsibility to fund the spiritual life of the president hence if Akufo-Addo has his spiritual direction it shouldn’t be the burden of Ghanaians who pay the taxes.

GHANAIANS ARE GOING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES BUT IT’S NOT MY FAULT” – Prez Akufo Addo

THE TIME IS NOT RIGHT TO RE-OPEN OUR LAND BORDERS — Nana Addo

President Nana Akufo-Adoo has announced the government’s decision to keep our land borders closed due to COVID-19

In his address to the nation on Wednesday, December 15, the president indicated that the time is not right to open the borders and explained that the closure is to prevent the fourth wave of the spread of the Omicron variant of the virus.

We are monitoring the level of threat of the disease and ongoing vaccinations in our neighbouring countries, and, as soon as we are satisfied that it is safe to do so, the borders will be opened. Until then, I believe this is not the right time to reopen our land borders, especially as we are determined to prevent the 4th wave, and, as such, they will remain closed until further notice,” President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said.

He stated that he knows the difficulties Ghanaians go through due to the closure of the borders

According to him, “To my fellow Ghanaians living along the borders of our nation, I know of the difficulties occasioned by the closure of our borders.”

As you know, the decision to close our borders, which are a source of livelihoods for many, was necessary because we wanted to limit the importation of the virus into the country,” the President said in his 27th address on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, to the nation to curb the spread of the virus.

‘THE HYPOCRISY’ – A Plus Descends On Sarkodie For Going Soft On Akufo-Adoo But Hard On Mahama

Popular social commentator, A-Plus has chided rapper, Sarkodie over his recent comment where he lamented about the harsh living conditions in Ghana.

You would recall that on Monday, December 6,  Sarkodie took to his Twitter page on December 6, 2021, to share his thoughts on the hikes in fuel prices that has necessitated commercial drivers to embark on a strike.

“The people are going through it!!! We always do!!! All we ask for is the right environment to hustle/ be productive,” the Sakcess label boss earlier wrote.

The Sarkcess Music CEO’s comment comes on the back of criticisms on social media where many accused him of being silent over the country’s hardships and somewhat contributing to it with his ‘Nana toaso’ statement during the 2020 general elections.

But after sharing his views on the fuel hikes on Twitter, Ghanaians dug a post from Sarkodie sometime in 2013 where he registered similar complaints against the Mahama-led administration in a seemingly harsh approach.

Wow fuel prices go up! Smh. Paying Mahama a visit this evening.” his comments read.

It was in this light that A-Plus after a careful comparison of Sarkodie’s tweets during the era of both governments lambasted the rapper for his subtle way of criticising the NPP government .

The hypocrisy. During John Mahama time as president the hardship was caused by his incompetence abi? Now there is serious hardship under Akufo Addo, instead of telling him the truth you added “we always do” to make you look good before them. When you spoke about hardship under John Mahama didn’t “we always do?” Or we were living in San Diego before he became president?” A-Plus stated.

GHANAIANS WON’T FORGIVE AKUFO ADDO IF BLACK STARS DOESN’T QUALITY FOR 2022 WORLD CUP – Sammy Gyamfi

The Director of Communication for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has joined the band wagon of peeved Ghanaians who have lambasted the Ghana national football team – Black Stars over their shambolic performance against Ethiopia.

The team was hoping to continue their fine start under Milovan Rajevac in the matchday five games of the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

However, the four-time African champions were held to a 1-1 draw game against the Walias at the Orlando Stadium.

As it stands, the draw against Ethiopia means Ghana must secure any form of a win against South Africa in the final Group G game on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium to be able to book a place in the playoffs.

Sammy Gyamfi reacting to the woes of Black Starts that he has envisaged that Ghanaians will not forgive President Akufo-Addo should the Black Stars fail to show up at the World Cup next year.

Ghanaians will not forgive Akufo-Addo if Black Stars fail to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar,” he told Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM
