Abeiku Santana put up the theatrics of his own as a way of expressing his heartfelt appreciation to songstress Adina after he gifted him a nice portrait of himself.
The ace broadcaster had no idea what the relatively consistent singer had in store for him when he hosted her in the studios of Okay FM for an interview session.
After the interview, Adina informed Abeiku that she has a surprise for him and when the giant gift was unwrapped and he saw that it was a portrait of himself carved in his handsome resemblance, he put up a cameo show.
On seeing the beautiful piece of artwork done on him, he collapsed to the floor in shock, albeit a bit of melodrama to reinforce his gratitude.
Ghanaian songstress, Adina Thembi has opened up on how she manages to stay out of beef and controversies as a public figure in the music industry.
In an interview on YFM, Adina told Kojo Manuel on the the ‘Dryve of Your Lyfe’ show, that her main focus is to do music with her team also putting her in check.
“They ensure that I do not get myself into any form of trouble that’ll distract me.”
“I’ve got a solid team that treats me nicely. They make sure the ugly side of me does not come out and I’m grateful to them for that.”
The ‘Too Late’ hitmaker intimated that as an artiste, she believes she has the mandate to entertain and give her fans amazing music and not to cause controversy.
“So the main focus is to do music and when we are doing other things, we do not focus and put the camera on the other unnecessary stuff. Believe me, there’s a real-world out there. The hard and crazy stuff but I just want you guys to enjoy this side of me. Perhaps if it is time to show the crazy side I will, but for now let’s just enjoy the music,” she said.
Sensational Ghanaian singer and reality TV star, Adina Thembi has opened up on undergoing surgery after battling fibroid illness for some time.
Adina who underwent a successful surgery to remove the fibroid in her body assured her female fans during an interview with Mercy Bee’s on eTV ‘s ‘Ghana’s Girl Vibes show.
The ‘Too Late’ hitmaker pointed out that the mere fact of going under the knife is scary for many including herself but she assured them that the process is safe especially when the patient eats well and basically prepares her body for the process.
According to her, there was never a time when she felt so much pain just lying in bed simply because she had had a surgery because she had enough medication and thankfully, had a very fast recovery.
She stated that she has taken it upon herself to create awareness about the condition and hopefully raise funds to support victims.
“A lot of people are afraid to do surgery because they don’t even understand how their body is going to react to it. Based on how your body is before you go into surgery, you might have it very bad or very good so they always advise that you’re eating well and basically preparing your body for what it’s about to go through”, she said.
Adina urged that, “Once you make sure that you’re healthy before you go in and you listen to what the doctors say, you will be fine. It’s not as crazy as society may make it seem or look like”.

Female celebrities from Nigeria and Ghana came together to have fun and raise funds to supports less privileged people with kidney diseases.
It was a day of fun and games as female celebrities clashed at the Lizzy’s sports complex in East Legon, Accra for a charity match to raise money for the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation to support kidney patients.
The event had most Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities at the stadium to help the charity event. Nana Ama Mcbrown, Jessica Opare Saforo, Moesha Boudoung, Pascaline Edwards, Victoria Michaels, Adina, DJ Kess, Juliet Ibrahim, Selly, Salma Mumin, Gloria Sarfo, Roselyn Ngissah and other female stars played for the Ghana team coached by Van Vicker.
Playing for the Nigerian side were Emma Nyra, Carolyna Hutchings, Peggy Ovire,Michelle Dede, Belinda Effah, Mary Lazerus, Lillian Afe, Halima Abubakar and others. Their technical team included Fred O Amata, Chris Okagbue and Kunle Remi.
Ghana’s goal was scored by Dj Kess while Nigeria’s equalizer came through Ghana-based Nigerian blogger/actress/TV host Chris Katta.
After Toosweet Annan refereed the first half, Nigerian’s Gbenro Ajibade who took over from him during the second half brought the football match to a halt after Nigerians scored their first goal. The charity match ended without a winner and according to Juliet Ibrahim, the return match will take place in Nigeria where the ultimate winner would be determined. The May 1, 2016 fixture ended 1:1.
