BET award-winning rapper and music executive, Michael Owusu Addo, otherwise known as Sarkodie has responded to accusations by some of his colleagues that he has been ignoring their calls.
You would recall that traditional singer, Sherifa Gunu, Kwaw Kese, Edem and others bitterly lamented that the Sarknation president has not been responding to their phone calls.
When asked to confirm or deny the accusations by his colleague musicians in a recent interview he granted on Zylofon FM, Sarkodie told Sammy Flex that not responding calls has been as bad habit of his he has been working hard towards overcoming it.
He claimed that his own mum is even a victim of his habit as he sometimes does not answer her calls therefore his colleagues should not take offence of their calls are not answered.
“The issue of picking calls is a general thing. Even my mom has the same problem with it so I don’t see why it should be taken personally. If you speak to my mother today, she’ll tell you her major problem with me is my refusal to pick her calls,” he stated in an interview with Sammy Flex.
The BET award winning act included in his submission that unless it is an important appointment, he does not feel compelled to answer calls.
“I don’t pick calls all the time unless I have an appointment with that person then I’ll have to keep up. I can agree that he’s been calling me and not getting through but it’s not deliberate. I really don’t want to speak about it because I cannot remember. I still can’t remember what happened so I’ll just have to agree with whatever he is saying whether true or not,” he added
