Ghanaian actress, Martha Ankomah has exposed Ghanaian movie producers on live radio as she described them as stingy.
Martha Ankomah told radio presenter, Abeiku Santana on Okay FM that Ghanaian movie producers refuse to pay actors and treat them well even after making a lot of profit from their investment.
She compared producers in Ghana to Nigerian producers and she claimed that Nigeria producers pay well and treat them better because they understand the business.
She said: “…Ghanaian film producers are stingy. They make a lot of profit and refuse to treat actors well.
“However, Nigerian film producers pay well because they believe they will make a profit from the movie. When they offer us roles, they pay us better, and it wasn’t bad. People work because of profit, and when there’s profit, it motivates you to work well,”
