Celebrated Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall musician, Samini has conceded that Ghanaians are suffering and struggling to survive under the New Patriotic Party government led by President Nana Akufo Addo.
Samini admitted that things has indeed gone from bad to worse since Nana Addo came to power after winning the 2020 elections when he appeared as a guest on United Showbiz’ hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV.
The ‘My Own’ hitmaker who heavily campaigned for NPP ahead of the 2020 elections reckoned the fact that a majority of the populace are complaining about hardship in the country then it means there’s truth in what they’re saying.
In his words, “If the bases say something, it means there is an iota of truth in there. Today in Ghana, if you listen to the people of Ghana today, an average, a Ghanaian will tell you that times are hard. So it is not me who will be asked if what the President said during his campaign which I supported has been done.”
