ACTRESS BIBI BRIGHT GETS GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENT

Actress and movie producer, Bibi Bright’s vigorous campaign for Nana Akufo-Addo to become President, has finally paid off.

After campaigning for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2016 general election, outspoken actress Bibi Bright has been named among three persons to form administrators of the Creative Arts Council.

The actress has been appointed Secretary for the council, led by Mark Okreku Mantey, boss of Slip Music.

Hon. Catherine Afeku, Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture announced at the launch of the council on Wednesday, March 1 that Bibi Bright, Mark Okraku-Mantey together with president Nana Addo’s daughter, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo form the Creative Arts Council.

The three-member team, according to the Minister, would select the rest of the Council’s members and also set up the right framework for the council.

Shatta Wale 2Ghana’s dancehall king Shatta Wale has reacted after his smash hit song “Kakai” was played during the New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto launch in Accra over the weekend.

It’s an open secret that the NDC party is using Shatta Wale’s “Mahama Paper” as their campaign song and the shatta Wale fever has now spread into the largest opposition party.

Shatta Wale’s ‘Kakai’ song was played at the NPP’s Manifesto launch over the weekend at the forecourt of Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Sunday October 9, 2016 and according to Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, he is coming into power like Kakai.

Well, Shatta has reacted to the NPP using his song.

According to him, he had no idea Nana Akuffo Addo was his fan, and he went on to label this year’s election as Shattatics.

AMAKYE DEDE SPOTTED ON NPP CAMPAIGN PLATFORM

Amakye Dede and Nana AddoGhanaian Highlife living legend Abrantie Amakye Dede aka “Seeerious” has been spotted on a political platform.

The “Iron Boy” hit maker who has not really disclosed his political affiliation in previous elections have been spotted openly campaigning for opposition leader and NPP flag bearer  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

As part of his “Arise for Change” tour  Amakye reportedly joined the 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to address residents of Agogo, in the Asante Akim North constituency.

According sources when Amakye Dede mounted the stage he asked the people of Agogo where he hails from, to vote for NPP to put in place measures to ensure that the ‘Fulani menace’ in the area is curbed once and for all.Amakye Dede NPP combined
