“What is this?…there are certain things you don’t have to pretend like you are not angry when you see your husband doing them…there are certain things you don’t have to do them…it’s total disrespect…ah..how can all your friends on social media be ladies …No..it’s not acceptable”,Frema Opined.

Frema explained extensively that,”All those female friends must respect…the way you handle your wife would determine how those female friends will also respect your wife…Everybody knows you are married but all they could see is you are every time on social media liking and commenting on ladies posts; people would go like what kind of lady are you married to? It’s very disrespectful”,

GHANAIAN MEDIA WANT MY DOWNFALL – Kwabena Kwabena

Multiple award winning Highlife artiste, Kwabena Kwabena, is not a very happy man and he blames the media for his ‘woes’ by misinforming Ghanaians about things they don’t know about him.

The Aso hitmaker believes the entertainment journalists especially have been feeding the public untruths resulting in a number of wrong perceptions about him.

According to the twice divorced Musician, there has been a lot of misconceptions about his love life, music career and other related issues and it is about time he cleared them all.

And he is going to do this through his book titled, Past Days Ahead which will be launched on June 23 at the Best Western Premier Hotel, Accra.

“What is wrong with the media coming to me and finding out issues they are not clear with? Why do they draw their own conclusions and put out false information about me? I know they want my down fall”, Kwabena Kwabena told Showbiz in an interview last week.

He said a lot of wrong things have been said about his tattoos but if journalists had inquired from him, he would have explained why he sports them. “I just love tattoos and that is why I have them on my body”, the Royal Lady singer added.

Citing another example, Kwabena Kwabena said he tuned in to a radio station discussing his Tuamudaa song and the comments were very bad.

“Now anyone at all can go on air and talk about my music when the fellow does not know anything about music. I would have no problem if a seasoned musician criticises my song than panelists or media persons who have no idea how songs are composed”, he angrily said.

This made him veer into the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) saying members of its Board should be made up of only great musicians who have excelled in their careers.

“There are great musicians in Ghana so why are we not putting them to work? I feel there should be changes on the board”, he said.

He took the opportunity to talk about the latest album he will be releasing soon. According to him, the album will feature some of the best musicians from Ghana.

Watch: FREMA ASHKAR DANCES FOR KWABENA KWABENA AT LOVE NIGHT CONCERT

In spite of his divorce rumors and a possible court injunction which was later thrown out by court, Highlife Singer Kwabena Kwabena gave patrons of his “Vitamilk Love Night” concert a great musical experience.

Kwabena Kwabena defied the low turn-out at the National Theatre to give a splendid two hour performance worth the money of all who attended.

Aside the general excitement throughout the event, as Rapper EL, M.anifest, Hiplife trio Dunsin and others took turns to perform, what caught our attention was during Kwabena Kwabena’s last performance.

He saved the best for last and performed his smash hit “Adult Music” to closed the show and guess who took to the dance floor- Frema Ashkar.

Frema Ashkar who is currently Kwabena Kwabena’s manager, has been at the centre of Kwabena Kwabena’s second divorce as she is alleged to be the woman currently warming Kwabena’s bed.

Frema has refused to publicly respond to the allegation but her passionate dance during Kwabena’s performance is perhaps a silent response to tell haters that she is unperturbed with the husband snatching allegations against her.

Frema was on the front roll with former deputy minister of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts- Madam Dzifa Gomashie.

As far as Kwabena Kwabena’s KBKB Music and his management Fab Links are concern, we don’t know about any court injunction. The concert is coming on and nothing has changed. Nobody has put any injunction on the concert”.

Frema explained that somebody made an illegal attempt but the police took care of him so everything is fine. “For us we don’t know what is going on with any injunction,” she explained.

According to Frema, a gentleman by name Gideon Kwamla Oyidzo known in showbiz as Jingles who is the Operations Director of ABBA Investment, misconduct himself on the premises of Metro TV when he tried to film her secretly at Metro TV but the security at Metro TV confronted him and had him apprehended at the Cantonment Police station.

Frema Ashkar also denied reports that her artiste is owing ABBA Investment GHS 180,000.00 for sponsorship and GHS 13,000.

“If there is any legal issue that will handled in court but as far as we are concerned Kwabena Kwabena is ready to perform for his fans in the month of love. The event comes off at the National Theatre tomorrow and tickets are out for GH100 regular and GH150 VIP at Koala, Baatsona Total, Airport Shell and Silverbird Cinemas so I would urge everyone to go out and get their tickets and let’s have a good time on Friday”, Frema insisted.

On Tuesday, news broke that an interlocutory injunction has been placed on the concert.

The injunction was sought by ABBA Investment, which had worked with Kwabena Kwabena to stage two editions of the concert – F14 Concert.

The Statement of Claim, sighted by Myjoyonline.com, read, “An order of perpetual injunction restraining Defendants, either by themselves, their agents, workmen, assigns or otherwise however described from organizing and holding a love concert using the concept of the Plaintiff and advertising the concert as if were another edition of F14 Concert.”

The plaintiff is further demanding a “Recovery of sum of THIRTEEN THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS (GHS 13,000) being the proceeds of tickets given to the Defendant to sell.”

The Plaintiffs are also seeking the “Recovery of the sum of ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND CEDIS (GHS 180,000.00) being the sponsorship amount given to the Defendant by VITAMILK for the 2016 F14 concert.” The writ was filed on the 7th February, 2017 and Kwabena Kwabena has eight days within which to officially respond to the statement of claim.

The “Save a Life Concert” 2016 organized by KBKB Music in collaboration with National Cardiothoracic Centre, paraded high profile musicians to entertain and raise money to support needy children suffering from heart diseases.

Even though, the event was not well attended, as expected, the artistes did not disappoint patrons who took time to step out to the event. One after the other, the musicians from the likes of Joe Mettle, Tagoe Sisters, No Tribe, Dada KD, Amanzeba, Becca, Nana Quame , Kwabena Kwabena, Nero X and others rocked the stage and the excitement almost overshadowed the real purpose of the night which was to raise funds to save human lives.

This year’s concert attracted a host of Ghanaian celebrities like Ohemma Mercy, JOT Agyemang, Ekow Smith Asante, Fred Nuamah, Singer Becca, Ahuofe Patri, Salma Mumin, Babie Dapaa among others and the event was hosted by actor James Gardiner.

The night attracted quite an appreciable amount of donations ranging from GH₵100, $6000, $8000 to a number of well-established individuals who pledged to sponsor some children with heart diseases including their surgeries and their wellbeing after their surgeries and their education.

Kwabena Kwabena has applauded everyone who supports this charity project adding that this year was not just to raise funds but  to also to have an educational campaign to create awareness about heart diseases and as far as he is concerned that was well achieved.

The concert since its inception in 2013 has managed to raise funds to help about 20 children with critical heart conditions. The foundation also seeks to raise awareness of the increasing pressure on the center and the number of patients who are just waiting to die with no one to lend a helping hand.DSC_0166 DSC_0178 DSC_0186 DSC_0193 DSC_0198 DSC_0210 DSC_0216 DSC_0227 DSC_0240 DSC_0260 DSC_0270 DSC_0278 DSC_0283 DSC_0320 DSC_0326 DSC_0333 DSC_0342 DSC_0349
