Award winning Ghanaian artist Bisa KDei has moved to the United States for his tour — while many believe he made this trip for the purpose of his bookings in the States, Bisa KDe’i has confirmed to us the trip involves a lot of projects which include finalizing a deal with American rapper Kanye West.

Bisa KDe yesterday on HOT97 talked about his music genre; high life music and his plans of elevating the genre to be one of the biggest in the world.

Bisa KDe’i, one of the many things he has in line for the uplifting of High life music in his country to the world is a deal with rapper Kanye West which he will disclose soon.

Bisa KDe was further asked by the host to talk more about the deal with the Yeezus rapper, — he replied by saying; it’s good to let actions speak instead of showing off or disclosing unconfirmed results, so for now permit me to talk less about this until everything goes on as planned.

Bisa KDe had his last performance in Charlotte last Saturday and to summarize his tour in the States, I can boldly confirm he has so far hosted the biggest concerts headlined by a single Ghanaian musician in different states, — of which I have witnessed in my industry career.

Born by name Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah, the Ghanaian high life icon has a lot of global hit songs, which include Odor Carpenter, SAA, Mansa, Brother Brother, Life with Nigerian superstar Patoranking.

I KISSED BISA KDEI ON THE CHEEKS – Becca Reacts To Viral Video

Bisa smooches Becca 2Singer Becca has reacted to a short video circulating on the internet showing her and sensational Highlife Singer Bisa Kdei kissing.

In weeks past, a brief video has surfaced on the internet, supposedly showing highlife singers Becca and Bisa Kdei in a kiss, and therefore confirming longstanding dating rumors.

The video, while dark and blur, shows a couple (presumed to be Bisa and Becca) giggling in embarrassment of being found out. But the singer has disputed the video, claiming she had not met Bisa in as long as the the video has been around;

“I keep asking people that did they see me kissing him in the video, I have never kissed him in my life. I hadn’t seen Bisa in my life, I hadn’t seen Bisa for eight months and actually that they everybody else if you look in that video was around,”
Speaking on Luv FM Kumasi, she bemoaned the lack of professionalism by some journalists for not thoroughly checking the video.
“If I was any journalist I will go and take it and lighten it up, brighten the picture to see but nobody seems to be doing that, then I realized that nobody seems to be interested. I actually told the people why you don’t brighten the video to see”she lamented.
She however admitted to kissing Bisa on his cheek, and was adamant that it went no further; “We were actually shooting a video…you will see I saw him and kissed him on the cheeks,”. Born Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, Becca shot to the music scene with her 2007 debut Sugar, and has since remained a consistent face in contemporary Ghanaian highlife. She has won several awards and been associated with such international acts as M.I Abaga, 2 Baba (formerly 2 Face Idibia), Uhuru, and Hugh Masekela.
