Award-winning Highlife singer, Kwabena Kwabena has opened up on how some Ghanaian musicians disrespected him while he was cooking his new album.
Kwabena Kwabena told IB of Multimedia ‘Joy Prime’ in an interview that he invited 5 musicians who are all relatively younger than him to be on his album but only 1 artist showed up.
According to him, he spoke to all the artists directly and they referred him to their managers which he complied since he understood it was business, however, after about six months he had to close the album and leave them out because they did not honor his feature request.
The ‘Adult Music’ crooner revealed that vocal powerhouse, Efya, was the only one who honored his invitation to be on his album but he did not disclose the names of the four other artists who for one way or the other did not come to the party and he described it as very unfortunate and disappointing.
Kwabena Kwabena advised the young acts to learn how to respect and he described it as one of the problems in the music industry.
