FILM PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA SUSPENDS TRACEY BOAKYE

Actress and movie producer, Tracey Boakye, has been suspended by the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG).
The suspension of Tracey was announced in a statement signed by FIPAG’s president, James Aboagye.
According to the statement, which was sighted by Nkonkonsa.com the decision stems from recent developments involving the actress and singer, Mzbel.
As widely reported, Tracey Boakye and Mzbel recently engaged in banter on social media. The two were fighting over a sugar daddy. Tracey, especially, rained unprintable insults while proudly revealing all the benefits she has been gaining from her sugar daddy.
Describing the behaviour of the two as regrettable and an affront to Ghana’s cultures, traditions, and sensibilities, the statement faulted Tracey more saying she should have acted as a role model. Excerpts from statement read: “Our attention has been drawn to recent publications and circulation of videos social media pistons of vulgar and unprintable exchanges between Tracey Boakye and Mzbel. The contents are so bad and an affront to our Ghanaian cultures, traditions, and sensibilities. The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) finds their actions very regrettable especially that of Miss Tracey Boakye, who happens to be an actress and a film producer and therefore supposed to serve as a role model.”
FIPAG went ahead and apologised on Tracey Boakye’s behalf saying her behaviour is something the movie industry does not wish to propagate.
The statement went on to indicate that they had suspended the actress indefinitely over her action.
Tracey Boakye and Mzbel were involved in a brawl on social media over what was alleged to be an issue of ‘dating the same man’. The actress and singer went live on social media to throw jabs and subtle jabs at each other.
Later, Tracey Boakye came out to apologize for her actions and added that she made the comments out of anger.
