Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament Kingsford Alban Sumana Bagbin has finally waded into the conversation about the passage of the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill amid campaign by some persons in the LGBTQ community calling for the legalization homosexuality in Ghana.
Addressing the clergy and some top executives in the legislature at a meeting, Alban Bagbin said that Ghanaians have spoken one voice and since he represents Ghanaians, he alludes that they don’t want anything to do with LGBTQ+ in Ghana.
Alban Bagbin, the longest serving parliamentarian in Ghana vowed never to approve and endorse the legalization of homosexuality in the country.
He recounted how one of the activists in the LGBTQI community called Moe on social media described him a funny person and responding to Moe he said that he will continue to be funny to ensure that the right thing is done.
According to him, he is pro-life and for that matter he will continue to be funny to ensure lives as saved, and he warned those threatening the Members of Parliament leading this anti LGBTQI bill to be careful.
