Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Kidi has responded to the attacks by some music lovers over the rates for his forthcoming event.
Kidi announced that his show ‘Live with Kidi’ which comes off later this month will have tables selling from GHC,3000 to GHC 15,000 and there will be spaces available for those who can only afford GHC 100.
This angered some fans and they dragged him for charging exorbitant rates for a single show but in his response to this, Kidi in an interview with Accra-based radio station, Hitz FM said he has not pointed a gun to anybody’s head to buy the tickets because there are some who can afford the tickets.
He told Andy Dosty that he is partnering with the owners of the venue, hence they are also finding a strategy to sell their drinks.
