photos: SOUTH AFRICAN TOURISM & INFINIX TAKE GHANAIAN AND NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES AND INFLUENCERS ON VACATION IN SOUTH AFRICA

Every year, we make the resolutions: we’ll seek more fulfilling adventures, we’ll travel more, we’ll take that much-needed time off to go experience Africa, experience the world. But nope! We never do it and again, it’s a Thursday in November, the year is coming to an end, no adventures have been sought and no new knowledge of the world around us has been gained. Absolutely terrible! And we’re not having it anymore. No more excuses! So, we hope that by the time you’ve read this article, you’ll not only be inspired, but also, motivated to go ahead with those holiday plans you’ve put on hold for so long. #Travel2SA Mission Possible!

This November, South African Tourism in partnership with Infinix has challenged you to make your travel dreams come true, beginning with, *ding!* *ding!* *ding!*, SOUTH AFRICA! These two brands have gotten together to show you the best of what South Africa has to offer and to up the ante, they took the likes of Nigerian TV Presenter and Influencer, Stephanie Coker, Nigerian Actor, Mawuli Gavor, Ghanian Actresses, Joselyn Dumas and Jackie Appiah, Nigerian Singer, Adekunle Gold, Critically acclaimed Nigerian Filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba, , Bloggers, Tosin Ajibade, Noble Ezeala, Onobello, Ameyaw Debrah, Media Guru, Colette Otutesho, Acclaimed photographers, Kelechi Amadi-Obi and Kola Oshalusi, Beat FM OAP Osi Suave and many more notable persons such as Lexis Bill, Kemi Smallz, Eugene Osaf0-Nkansah, and Francis Doku. Through this incredible selection of guests, we get the chance to experience SA through magnificent lenses, and various perspectives. Of course, representing the South Africa Tourism board on this trip is Hloni Pitso, Jennifer Awoh and incoming West African lead Thekiso Rakolojane.

It is apt that South African tourism is in partnership with Infinix Mobilility for this trip. For Infinix this year has been filled with stellar achievements as they keep churning out extraordinary smartphones with amazing features No doubt they are becoming a force to be reckoned with in the tech space, particularly in Africa, and as such, it is no surprise that SAT has partnered with them to show you the best captured moments of this adventure. Within the smartphone ecosystem, they have also redefined the smartphone user experience and are gearing up to become the smartphone choice of “adventurists” and “everywherists” (like you next year, when you make those travel dreams come true!!).

This group of “adventurists” and “everywherists,” however, touched down South Africa on the 27th of November 2018 and made their way to the Drakensberg Sun Resort where they settled in whilst capturing the scenery that exuded tranquillity and beauty through its clean-cut topography. You need to follow all their stories and feeds if you haven’t been doing so. (Tagged at end of article) What we can tell you without hesitation is that South Africa is incredible. What even makes this particular trip more exciting is that they aren’t just in Jo’burg or Durban or Cape Town, shopping and eating. They are going into other amazing places that you may not hear of as frequently but are just as gorgeous – Drakensberg and Clarens as well as engaging in fun activities like wine tasting with cheese and grapes, canoeing, horse riding, and more.

The entire team also visited the Mandela Capture site, the monument where former South African President, Nelson Mandela was arrested after evading capture for 17 months in 1962. The sculpture at the Nelson Mandela Capture Site comprises 50 steel columns that are between six and 9.5 metres in height and it had the entire crew wonderstruck.

Presently,  the crew has left Drakensberg and have made their way to Clarens. The views on their way there have all left us speechless. From the magnificent maloti mountains, the green pastures surrounding it hills, the sandstone cliffs with their multi-coloured layers to the breathtaking beauty of this countryside which makes us yearn for a pastoral life.

So yeah! We’re wishing we were there right now and we know by time you see all of this, especially when you see it via the lenses of an Infinix Zero 6, we know you’ll be wishing you were there too!

Are you done reading this?! Okay. Good. What are you waiting for? Let’s make those travel dreams come true next year! SA, here we come! #MySAExperience #DiscoverSAwithZero6
