Ex-Black Stars defender John Paintsil celebrated his birthday yesterday June 15.

Despite his ongoing trial for allegedly assaulting the East Legon District Commander, stealing and offensive conduct, Paintsil celebrated his birthday with a few close friends at the new 4Syte TV mansion at East Legon.

Present at John’s private party were former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Laryea Kingston, Musician Nana Boroo, 4syte TV CEO Ignace Hego among others.

Giovani weddingFast rising radio and TV host, Caleb Adjomah better known Giovani Caleb  has finally said I do to his long time girlfriend.

The couple were put together in holy matrimony at their white wedding which took place at Event Haven, Trade Fair on Saturday May 28, 2016.

The classy ceremony was attended by family, friends and colleagues in the media industry including Kofi Okyere Darko, Caroline Sampson, Lexis Bill, Francis Doku, staff of Excellent In Media (EIB) Networks among others.

The white wedding followed their traditional marriage on Thursday May 26 to long time girlfriend, Belinda Boadu. The big ceremony also happened a day after his birthday.

Giovanni first appeared in the media industry on radio with Radio Univers in 2008 when he was in his second year in the University of Ghana, Legon. He joined Global Media Alliance as a national service person and was promoted to programs manager due to his diligence and professionalism. After gaining grounds in the field of leadership, he moved to EIB Network’s Live FM in 2015.

His wife Belinda Boadu is the Managing Director of Impart & Impact education, career and business consulting.

Farida got married to her long time lover Kofi Oduro Mensah in a classy and colorful wedding at Marrakech in Morocco over the weekend.

The Ghanaian couple were joined by both families to witness the beautiful ceremony. Some of the notable personalities present at the wedding include Founder / Executive Director of Eurostar Limousine Mr. Oscar Yao Doe among others.

Farida is the daughter of Ghana’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), His Excellency Dr. Kodzo K. Alabo and her mother is Moroccan.

Yvonne Okoro waterBeautiful actress Yvonne Okoro has as part of her social responsibility commissioned a water project in the northern region to provide portable water for the people of Wungu at Walewale.

The popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro on Tuesday April 12, 2016 put smiles on the faces of the people of Wungu in the Walewale community of the Northern Region, when she commissioned, a borehole.

For a very long time, the community had battled with water scarcity. Natives including school children and the aged walk several kilometers in search of water every day. As part of Yvonne’s annual charity exercise, she decided to go to the aid of the community by funding the drilling of a borehole.

Business activities in the community on Tuesday came to standstill for a while to give the actress a rousing welcome for the commissioning ceremony which paved way for the borehole to be used.

Commissioning the project, Yvonne said, “It gives me joy to offer a supporting hand to those who need it in society. I hope this project will go a long way to impact positively on the lives of the people of Wungu especially the children and women. I want use this opportunity to thank God and everyone else who supported this project. I also thank African World Airline (AWA) for bringing us this far for a successful commissioning ceremony.”

Yvonne and her team including TV personality and lawyer, Sandra Ankobiah had earlier paid a courtesy call to the chief of Tamale, Naa Dakpena Alhassan and the chief of Wungu at the Wungu paramount palace.

She also visited West Mamprusi District offices and Daa-Gyei Academy, where she advised children at the school to take their lessons seriously after they sung for her. Amidst cultural performances by the Wungu Cultural Troop, natives including, school children as well as other actors from the northern part of the country came out in their numbers to support the Ghana Must Go actress to commission the borehole.

Also in attendance were Hon. Dr. Sagre Bambangi MP for Walewale and Wuni David D, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the West Mamprusi District, who assured the actress the community would take a good care of the borehole.

“I extend my sincerely gratitude to you for deciding to come here. It is my responsibility as the DCE of the West Mamprusi District to provide water for the people and if you have come to provide water for the people, we are grateful…I want to assure you that we will take good care it and I am also taking this opportunity to ask others to learn from your kind gesture,” Wuni David added when Yvonne visited his office.

Yvonne Okoro remains one of Ghana’s relevant award winning actresses and producers who are doing well for society. Her latest movie, Ghana Must Go is currently making great impact in Ghana and expected to premiere in Nigeria very soon.

A-List celebrities mostly musicians stepped out in star-studded style for music’s biggest night of the year.

The biggest stars in music all over the world turned up for the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday night February 15 2016.

The 58th annual ceremony honored the best in the music industry, so it isn’t surprising that tons of celebrities were on the red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. With nominees like Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Ghana’s own Reggae super star Rocky Dawuni and more, stars were everywhere you looked, and of course, they took the opportunity to make some bold statements with their fashion.

The 58th Grammy Awards aired on Monday on CBS at 8 p.m. EST live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The stars came out and the public trooped to the premiere actress Yvonne Okoro’s new movie, Ghana Must Go.

The movie’s premiere at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on Saturday January 2 2016, recorded a very large number of movie patrons than ever.

Silverbird officials had to stop selling tickets during the red carpet ceremony because there were no more spaces available in its cinema halls.

“Thanks to everyone that turned up for Ghana Must Go …it was so insane sold out premiere…,” Yvonne said on social media, Sunday afternoon after receiving congratulatory messages from contented patrons.

The premiere ceremony was attended by showbiz names like Nkem Owo aka Osuofia, Lydia Forson, Rapper EL, the Okoro sisters, Sandra Ankobeah. The actress is reported planning on premiering the movie in other parts of Ghana, Nigeria and other places.
