The Master of Ceremony who doubles as a media, culture and tourism expert was a guest on TV Africa’s Breakfast Live to speak on the topic; Culture and how it can influence our sense of fashion in Ghana.
In a hearty chat with host, Nikki Samonas, KKD amidst underlining the pros and cons of the just ended royal wedding, he stated that here in Ghana, only five women tick his fashion boxes.
“For me, five of the best-dressed women in Ghana are former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, business woman, Joyce Aryee, female journalist/media practitioner, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, Nayak CEO, Nana Yaa Konadu and Akosua Ridder”.
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) unveiled Mrs. Claudia Lumor, the Editor-in-Chief of the Glitz Africa Magazine as its Honorary Goodwill Ambassador for Ghana on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

When asked about what this unveiling meant to her, Claudia noted, “I’m very humbled. It is my dream to help in whichever way to create awareness for the need of quality maternal healthcare and this honour affords me the opportunity.”

Actress Zynnell Lydia Zuh has been crowned Most Glamorous Celebrity at the 2018 Ghana Makeup Awards.
The 2018 edition of the Ghana Makeup Award came off on Saturday, April 28, at Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra.
Zynnell was nominated alongside, Nana Ama McBrown, Selly Galley and Berla Mundi and she emerge winner.
After sieving through a total of 2,400 applicants, the highest so far in the history of the event, a host of celebs, and makeup artistes were nominated for the various categories.
Wholesalers, consumers, industry advocates and public-sector partners of the makeup and beauty industry in Ghana were also nominated.

Accra Fashion Week CR18 made history last week at the Providence Events Centre with an amazing fashion and celebrity-filled event featuring some of Ghana’s best designers and foreign brands.

Virgil Abloh, the founder of streetwear brand Off-White and Kanye West’s creative director, has been named the new menswear designer for French fashion label Louis Vuitton.
“I feel elated,” the 37-year-old told The New York Times, saying the opportunity was “always a goal in my wildest dreams”.
The news site says Abloh is one of the few black designers at the helm of a major French fashion house.
Others include Olivier Rousteing – the creative director at Balmain, and British designer Ozwald Boateng who led Givenchy men’s wear from 2003 to 2007.
Abloh will present his first menswear collection for Louis Vuitton in June at Paris Fashion Week.
Louis Vuitton chief executive Michael Burke praised the designer’s “sensibility towards luxury and savoir-faire” adding he would be “instrumental in taking Louis Vuitton’s menswear into the future”.
