COUNSELOR LUTTERODT APOLOGIZES TO YVONNE NELSON

Popular Radio and Television relationship counselor Reverend, George Lutterodt has issued an unqualified apology on TV Africa’s morning show ‘’Breakfast live’’ to Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson for comments attributed to him in which he heaved verbal abuses.

Lutterodt, who in an interview on TV Africa’s Breakfast Live tagged the actress as a “disgraceful born one” rendered a heartfelt apology to the movie director and producer on same show this week.

Ghanaians and industry players descended on Counselor Lutterodt on social media over comments to the actress that many have tagged as ‘’uncalled for’’.

Speaking to TV Africa’s Nikki Samonas, the self-acclaimed counselor said: “To Yvonne Nelson, I say a very big sorry. The wording of the write-up, the conversation and video didn’t really match up, however since it has been said and has denigrated your brand, I sincerely apologize.’’

He further added that he personally has no grudge against the actress and reiterated that he makes comments based on the issues which are been discussed.

“We didn’t sit here to say we are coming to mock Yvonne Nelson or talk about Yvonne, No! But usually and constantly when the issues come up and in the quest to addressing them those things come in line. So the headline that says “Ashawo” or ‘born one” isn’t what it is. If you play the video, that’s not what it is. However, once it was derogatory to Yvonne Nelson and has hurt her brand, I will want to use this same platform that was used, to apologize to her. Yvonne Nelson, I am sorry.’’

“Every statement that has been said, even if it wasn’t what the write-up says, I retract it”, he ended.

SHATTA WALE NEEDS HELP AND PRAYERS – Bullet

The late Ebony Reigns’ manager, Bullet, has said Shatta Wale needs “help” and “prayers”.

Bullet’s comments came after Shatta Wale attacked him during an interview on Entertainment Review on Peace FMon Saturday.

“This is someone who claims to be from the ghetto. Is that how to talk? His speech should inspire people to want to be great. This is someone who insults pastors. He needs prayers, he needs help,” an obviously angry Bullet said.

On Friday, March 16, 2018, Shatta Wale insulted Bullet, accusing him of being the likely source of rumours that he (Wale) wanted to be paid before performing at the late Ebony’s tribute concert.

He questioned the reports via a post on Facebook post, saying, “How can I charge to go and perform at a funeral … Where is the happiness and enjoyment at the particular place and time… Bullet if you are the one spreading rumors like this which I kno u can ….then u fool waaa this Friday…This is not the first time I am hearing this form your camp .. Zylofon is my pride if you know like go burn the sea.”

Even though Bullet later clarified in a series of interviews that Shatta Wale wasn’t the one making the demand as many Ghanaians believed, the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker still went ahead and called him a fool.

Shatta Wale further called into Peace FM’s Entertainment Review on Saturday to throw jabs at Bullet and also described the upcoming Ebony tribute concert as useless.

This infuriated  Bullet, who reacted by saying he feels sad for Shatta Wale and asked Ghanaians to pray for him because as he’s “not correct” in the head.

CHASE OFFERS $200 TO ANYONE WHO CAN SLAP COUNSELLOR LUTTERODT

R&B singer Fianko Bossman, popularly known as Chase Forever, has taken a swipe at Counsellor George Lutterodt over his consistent emotional abuse and attacks on women.

The counsellor, he undercsored, does not deserve the platforms and attention given to him by the Ghanaian media because he does not use it “wisely”.

He explained that counsellors are professionals who give guidance on personal or psychological problems but “this counsellor most often finds joy in abusing people, especially women” when he gets the chance to sit on TV and radio.

“Any man who mentally, emotionally or physically abuses women doesn’t deserve media clout,” he told News One on Sunday.

Many people have, on several occasions, condemned Counsellor Lutterodt’s degrading comments about women on TV, radio and other platforms.

His latest rant occurred at the studios of TV Africa, where he reportedly described celebrated actress Yvonne Nelson as a “born-one, shameful ashawo who has no iota of disgrace to shut up about her adulterous life of having a daughter out of wedlock.”

The comment infuriated a lot of Ghanaians, including actors, who took to social media to lambast him.

According to Chase Forever, the likes of Lutterodt would never have been given the opportunity to sit on radio or TV to denigrate women in the past, let alone given the platforms.

He also took to social media over the weekend and promised to give $200 to any Ghanaian who can shut Counsellor Lutterodt up with a ‘dirty’ slap.

In a video on his Instagram page, the musician said, “This guy sits on TV and degrades a woman that’s carried a baby for 9-months and nobody says anything about it. It breaks my heart, so I have $200 dollars for anyone that can slap Counsellor Lutterodt and send me a video.”

NEVER ABORT A CHILD BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT MARRIAGE – Kafui Danku

Actress Kafui Danku has urged women never to consider abortion as their solution to pregnancies that occur out of wedlock.

She advised they should feel free and have their babies without fear of being judged by people who “claim high moral grounds” in society.

Judgement, she opined, is exclusively preserved for God and not any other human being.

The beautiful actress stated that women who give birth out of wedlock should, therefore, let God be their ultimate judge.

Kafui was speaking through her new book, ‘Silence Is Not Golden’, which was launched at the Unique Floral Centre at Trade Fair in Accra on Sunday.

“Before tying the nuptial knot, I was intimate with him (husband) and got pregnant – something we never felt bad about. The news of my pregnancy was welcomed and greeted with joy and celebration. It is quite unfortunate when some people claim high the moral ground in condemning those who conceive before wedlock. If the Creator’s injunction in the Good Book against judging others is anything to go by, then I think we all must learn that judgement is God’s exclusive preserve,” Kafui revealed in her book.

“There are great people the world over today who were born out outside of wedlock and there are miserable people today who were born to parents who married as virgins. Definitions, determinations and the future belong to God. It is an act of wisdom to desist from defining people based on what you see about them today,” she added.

According to her, if there is any woman out there who did abortion because of wedlock, she should seek God’s forgiveness and should never repeat that.

‘Silence Is Not Golden’ was launched on Sunday, with a call on women to speak up in society. The book covers Kafui’s many years of painful experiences written to inspire and encourage others. It also echoes the often-overlooked cry of many women, capturing the frustrations of her friends and their families.

The book is coming at a time when Counsellor George Lutterodt is verbally abusing some women in the showbiz industry for their decision to have babies out of wedlock.

“My main objective for doing this work is to launch a crusade for the woman who is yet to hear the first cry of her baby,” Kafui said in the introductory part of the book.

Sunday’s launch was attended by a number of dignitaries and showbiz personalities such as Nana Ama McBrown, Inna Patty, DKB, Stonebwoy, among others, with Kafui Dey as the MC.
