After the signing of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Zionfelix.net has heard many Ghanaians saying that Zylofon Media will soon add rapper Sarkodie to the artistes on Zylofon Music.

Close friends of the entertainment company have on several occasions disclosed that they have heard that the Nana Appiah Mensah-owned firm has started talks with the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker but Samuel Atuobi Baah, Head of Communication for the company has told Zionfelix.net that there is no iota of truth in the hearsay.

Mr. Atuobi Baah answering Zionfelix.net at the launch of Zylofon Cash last Friday disclosed that the musician real name Michael Owusu Addo is just a friend to the company like him, Adomako Felix popularly called Zionfelix, host of Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show and boss of zionfelix.net. According to him, the fact that he, Zionfelix comes to Zylofon Media office often does not mean the company is planning of signing him so the public should dump the rumour of Sarkodie joining Zylofon Music into a trash bin.

He further communicated that “Zylofon Media has not taken a decision of signing any artiste”.

“Zylofon Media has not signed Zionfelix but you are our friend. You come to our office anytime of your choice and same as we calling on you anytime we need your help. The fact that you often visit us does not mean we are about to sign you. There are friends and business people of this company. Everybody in the entertainment industry is a friend to Zylofon Media including him Sarkodie. As it stands now, Zylofon Media has not taken a decision to sign any artiste but all musicians in the country are friends of Zylofon Media.” Sammy Flex explained.

Comedian David Oscar has made a shocking revelation that he conspired with fellow Comedian DKB to make Ghana’s foremost event company, Charterhouse unpopular.

The Comedian turned musician revealed that he teamed up with fellow Comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly known DKB, to register fake social media accounts to attack and defame event organizers, Charterhouse and some personalities.

David Oscar dropped this bombshell during an interview on the “Total Showbiz” segment of Okay FM’s “Ekwansodwodwo” drive time program.

David described DKB as a hypocrite because after breaking communication with him for over three years, he (DKB) called him just two weeks ago, that he was doing a documentary on comedy in Ghana and asked him to attack Charterhouse as part of the documentary.

“Are you not the self-imposed king of GH comedy, so why don’t you fight them? You are friends with George Quaye, are you not? Although you and I, we teamed up to create anonymous accounts on tweeter to attack the likes of George Quaye, Nii Aryee Tagoe and others. They see you as a friend, don’t they? I am sure they see you as a friend because you are the good guy and David Oscar is the bad guy. Now you are coming to me to go and attach Charterhouse but I said no! I won’t do that. You are a hypocrite. Why don’t you go and fight them yourself?” David Oscar lamented.

DKB who was reached on phone on the same program to react to David’s allegations, only said he believes David Oscar is speaking out of bitterness.

David was reacting to a post he made on Facebook, asking the public to ignore comedians who have conferred on themselves kingly and queenly titles seemingly directed at acclaimed King of GH Comedy, DKB.

In the Facebook post he made on Wednesday, 21st February 2018, the ‘Rasta Love’ singer said he is the best thing that happened to Ghanaian stand-up comedy.

“Forget your kings, king – kongs, queens and self imposed monarchs. I am the best thing that happened to Ghanaian Stand up Comedy. Let any fellow who “can” claim otherwise, step up for a debate,” he wrote.

Since his exit from Stand-up comedy into music, there have been a couple of comedians who have assumed several accolades to dignify their trade but to Derrick Kobina Bonney aka DKB, affectionately called the ‘King of GH Comedy, the King of Stand-up Comedy title was conferred on him by ace satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa.
